I’m a mother of 5 years old son,diagnosed as mild autism.the school refered me to premji O.t.In 8 months time,he is able to concentrate better,has good eye contact.His sensory issues are gradually coming down.Now he is going to a regular school with the help of a shadow.Premji ot gave me the confidence that my son can do better.They give suggestions on how to engage my child in a right and funfilled way.

My child is 5yrs old. He was diagnosed as autism spectrum disorder at the age of 3yrs.He was going to special school.He joined premji OT in oct 2011.Since the time of joining he has improved a lot in gross motor,fine motor and sensory related issues.Engersoll sir would daily consell me to remove him from special school and put in a regular school.myself and husband was not having the confidence.After seeing the countless efforts of premji ot,we trusted them and shifted my son to regular school. It was a wonder.He came class first or second in the exams.He fetched second prize in the competition among regular children..they always say special schools will be open for you at any age.regular schools can not give you opportunity after a specific age. Me and my husband are so happy to see him going to school in uniform,getting homework and rank card.

we have twins.our sons did not speak properly till the age of 2.when elder son stsrted talking we slowly noticed many differences between them.At the age of 2.3,my elder son was diagnosed as mild autism at Chennai and confirmed again at st.johns hospital,Bangalore.He had no eye contact,no socialization and no communication.he also had hand flapping,toe walking and lot of tantrums
he was going to small play school where daily I have to hear complaints from his teacher like not sitting and listening . We started O.T at the age of 2.8 in premji .ot,weekly 5 days.Slowly,we started seeing improvements.His sitting tolerance became very good and his first word to say himself was’ very good’which Therapist use to say to him on completion of his activities.He started going himself inside the barber shop and sit on the chair for hair cut without any tantrum.Nowadays no complaints from school and he got A+ in final exam.The Principal who told me to search for other school insisted me to continue in the same school.His eye contact and socialization improved.After completion of 1 ½ yrs of therapy,they put him in group sessions.He started playing with the neighbour children.
My son his now in a state board school getting above 90% in all subjects.Mr.Engersoll and Mrs.Sumithra are very friendly,kind and too sincere in bringing up the child.

My child was 8 months old.She did not have full head control.She was a downs syndrome baby with cardiac problem.I started with 5 days ot.I was worried will she be able to tolerate.But to surprise she was very happy to go for therapy.She got her head control and was able to roll over.she was able to creep and able to get up and sit by herself.She learnt to crawl.After 9 months of therapy she started standing.Therapist at premjiot also guided me to work on feeding,play,concepts,speech,etc.,Therapist at premjiot are so confident in the subject and handling of the clients.

Liya is 3 years and was diagnosed as Cerebral Palsy which affects her movement and speech .She was on medications and under going physio therapy since 2 years of age.Whenever we go for consultations, liya will cry badly and vomit due to fear and anxiety of stretching.We came to know about premjiot through a parent who was getting her child there. Occupational therapist at premjiot initially worked on making her develop trust on the therapist and the place.To the surprise within 2 days she settled down.She was happy and wanted to go even if she had cold and fever.Liya started liking activities,seeing people and going out.Therapist gradually focussed on sitting position and lower back stability. With the help of occupational therapy, Liya ’s posture has improved dramatically, and she is now able to balance in sitting position .They also focussed on her hand functions because of which she wanted to play with various toys. thank you for improving her abilities .
